MPSI Brief History
The journey of MPSI began with a divine vision given to its physical founders, Pastor and Pastor (Mrs) Ekerendu Effiong Tom, by God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This couple, anointed by God, are deliverance ministers, biblical counselors, evangelists, and teachers of the Word.
Their lives are a testament to praise, expressed through songwriting, singing, and dancing for the glory of God. They are also good in playing musical instruments, rejoicing in Psalms and Hymns and thanks to God. For we are created to praise God. (Malachi ch 2:1-2)
MPSI was founded out of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), following a directive from the General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, for ministers to discover their unique gifts. Through fasting and prayer, Pastor (Mrs) Ekerendu Comfort Effiong received the mantle to establish MPSI in 2004, starting with just five members and growing to over twenty-five today.
The Founding of MPSI
After their full service to God who called them, their mentor, in his divine wisdom, understood the importance of ensuring that the ministers he had raised were settled and properly supported so they could continue faithfully on their own mission and vision.
With the heart of a true father, he provided them with this very little token – a token which, like drops of water that form a mighty ocean, has now become a seed of greatness, producing abundant results for the glory of God.
HOW DID THIS HAPPEN FOR US TO GET INGREDIENTS TO FUND AND REGISTER MESSIAH PRAISE SINGERS INTERCESSORS (MPSI). THEY WERE TRAINED AT MOUNTAIN OF FIRE AND MIRACLE MINISTRIES.
It was within this great ministry, under the anointing and covering of God's servant, that they received discipline, training, and empowerment for effective service in God's vineyard. Yet, as the Scripture says, a servant does not abide with the master forever; so, in like manner, our father in the Lord, moved by divine leading, chose to release and settle many of those who had a personal calling, ensuring that their individual ministries would not only begin but also stand strong upon a firm foundation.
We therefore ask that the Almighty God will continue to bless our father in the Lord and his entire generation for this act of fatherhood and divine generosity. His blessing extended to us in the form of the above cheque, which was the very instrument we used in registering this group officially, marking the beginning of a journey that has brought forth fruit.
The success story of MPSI cannot be told without tracing it back to MFM and to the spiritual covering of God's servant, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya.
We boldly declare that God will continue to bless your generation, sir. May He guide you continually, protect you and your family, and enlarge the ministry committed into your hands. Your labour of love has become our encouragement and testimony. We remain ever grateful on this journey of faith, and we say, thank you, sir, for being a father, a mentor, and a vessel through whom God established the foundation of Messiah Praise Singers Intercessors.
